Thanks to 240 km of pistes, skiers and snowboarders of all levels can find a piste that meets their needs. The name 'Alpe d’Huez Grand Domaine' has replaced the previous title 'Les Grandes Rousses'. During the summer it's also vibrant with mountain sports activities; there are many hiking and cycling routes. The Alpe d'Huez is primarily known for the beautiful competition that takes place here during the Tour de France.
