I absolutely loved staying on the Ãle Saint-Louis, part of the 4th arrondissement, The location is peaceful, and yet is within steps of all of the action of the 5th and 6th arrondissements, including the Latin Quarter, The 4th boasts some wonderful restaurants, boulangeries, and coffee shops and has a nice community feel, The apartment itself was perfect for me as a solo traveler, and I could easily see it working for a couple as well, It was clean, and the lower level had a fairly large kitchen and dining area, which was perfect for those moments where I was relaxing a bit or planning my next adventure, The somewhat quirky layout is very charming, I would definitely stay here again, rather than a boring hotel, This is a very minor inconvenience, but I',ll mention it just to be able to write something in this box, Maybe a door code instead of a metal key? So many French apartments and lodgings seem to rely on physical metal keys, so maybe there is an actual reason for this, but I always find myself worried about losing the key or fumbling for it when I',m in a hurry, An electronic lock would eliminate some of these issues, plus would eliminate the need for a lock box to obtain the keys in the first place,
