We had a lovely two week stay at villa Thymari. The house is private located and surrounded by a beautiful garden and swimming pool overlooking the Plakias bay. Kitchen needs an update. We will treasure our memories of our breakfasts at the front porch planning our trips of the day Several small beaches are in the vicinety, the most impressive of course Preveli beach. Plakias is a very friendly town with good restaurants. we would love to come back someday...

Villa Thymari is prachtig. Een huis met veel zithoekjes, een fijn zwembad en een volgroeide tuin met veel schaduw hoekjes. Het huis is voorzien van alle faciliteiten alles inclusief er komt 1 x per week een schoonmaakster en al het beddengoed en handdoeken zijn prima in orde. Er is nu ook gratis satelliet internet. De gastheer is een echte “gentlemen” die er veel plezier in heeft om het zijn gasten naar de zin te maken. In de omgeving is genoeg te doen, zwemmen, klimmen, archeologie, etc. Wij waren er in mei en hadden een prachtige vakantie met prima weer en veel zon (22-26 graden). Zorg wel dat je een auto hebt want anders moet je wel heel veel lopen.

A beautiful, well-equipped house in a stunning location - wonderful views, especially lovely watching the spectacular sunsets over the sea from one of the terraces. The owner was charming and hospitable and I can commend this house to anyone who appreciates a "home from home" feel in the most glorious mountain setting - the photographs don't do it justice ! The location is quiet, on an un-surfaced road (about 200m from the nearest made road) but only 10 minutes drive from Plakias where there are bars, restaurants and several small supermarkets - it's not suitable for serious party animals.
