Description
This detached, luxurious wooden chalet for a maximum of 8 people is located in the middle of the village of Hohentauern on a sunny slope with an impressive panoramic view over the mountains, the ski lift and the village.
The chalet is fully equipped and offers a spacious living room, a modern fully equipped kitchen, four bedrooms and two bathrooms, a large wooden sun terrace. There are also many extras such as the sauna, a luxurious shower and a wonderful bathtub. Parking is available directly at the chalet.
The ski lift to the well-known and traditional family ski area Ski Hohentauern with 11 kilometers of slopes is only 200m away and various hiking trails are right on the doorstep. In every season, the chalet and the immediate surroundings offer you and your family the opportunity to enjoy an active and relaxing holiday.
Summer is best known for the many lakes, thermal baths and the impressive Hohe Tauern mountain range. The more than 200 days of sunshine per year and the snow-sure ski area make this area a perfect holiday region at any time of the year.
The reception in the Almdorf can only be reached by telephone on Wednesdays.

Date of stay: June 2024This was our 7th visit to these cottages. The equipment is still very good and nice, just deteriorating cleanliness - there were some smudges on the floor in the bedrooms, under the beds, when the mattresses rise, so there are a lot of impurities and what was most unpleasant - there were stains on the blankets. We paid 130 euros for cleaning, which is a high amount to make the cleaning performed more thoroughly.

Date of stay: August 2023It was our sixth stay at this destination. The cottages are perfectly equipped, we never had any problems. Kerstin and Jochen are fantastic hosts. On our last visit we couldn't find the WiFi password and then how to turn on the heating. In both cases, Jochen arrived immediately and showed and explained everything to us (we got along well, even though we don't speak German, only a little English). I definitely recommend using this destination for your vacation.

Date of stay: February 2018Onthaal en chalet waren prima. Hohentauern is een klein skidorpje waar niet echt veel te beleven is. Het chaletpark is echter heel leuk gelegen direct aan de skipiste.

Date of stay: February 2017 - March 2017Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Das Skigebiet ist klein, aber ein echter Geheimtipp. Keine Wartezeiten, nettes Lift-Personal, kein Gedränge auf den Pisten. Das Chalet hat alles, was man braucht. Die Ausstattung ist sehr hochwertig. Vom Wohnzimmer aus kann man auf den Lift sehen, er ist ca. 150m entfernt. Wir (2 Familien mit insgesamt 4 Kindern) haben Mittagspause immer im Chalet gemacht. Ein kleiner Dorfladen, wo man auch Brötchen holen kann, ist fussläufig erreichbar. Und im Restaurant Passhöhe, direkt an der Talstation des Lifts, haben wir prima gespeist. Wir waren sicher nicht das letzte mal da. Vielen Dank!
