Lake Millstatt, also known as the jewel of Carinthia, offers a particularly idyllic, warm and southern atmosphere due to its proximity to Italy. The lake is picturesquely situated between the Carinthian Nockberge, has a water temperature of around 27 degrees and offers plenty of water sports and various beaches.
