Throughout the Murtal and Mürztal in Styria there are ski slopes in 12 different ski areas with a total of 236 kilometers of slopes and routes, over 80 cable cars and a large range of prepared cross-country ski trails. The Lachtal ski area, the Obdach ski area, the Kresichberg ski area and the Grebenzen ski area are well known.
