This cozy apartment is ideally located in the heart of Durbuy. You have access to a cozy covered terrace in the city garden, with storage for bicycles. The apartment is accessible via an outdoor staircase. Durbuy is, according to experts, the smallest town in the world and has a large square with terraces and restaurants. There is also fun shopping in the many small and cozy shops. For more action, you can indulge in Durbuy Adventure (5km), where you have a choice of more than 60 different activities, such as paintball, mountain biking, abseiling, climbing and scrambling. The golf enthusiast can go to various golf courses in the area, among the most beautiful of the Ardennes. Also visit the brewery La Ferme au Chêne, where the famous Marckloff beer is brewed: an amber colored beer with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Of course there is also a cheese from the beer of the same name. In winter this is a wonderful ski area. The most famous Alpine ski runs are Baraque de Fraiture (27km) and Val de Wanne (36km). Cross-country skiing is possible in the nearby Odeigne (25 km), Samrée (22 km) and Vecmont (29 km), all less than half an hour away.

Date of stay: August 2024 - September 2024Goed om te weten: De woning ligt naast een T-splitsing naar de hoofdweg en heeft daardoor in de slaapkamers geluid van verkeer. De hoofdweg is van keien en daarover wordt hard gereden, vooral 's morgens vroeg. De kozijnen en ramen zijn van een niet echt geluidsisolerend materiaal gemaakt. Jammer voor zo'n mooie woning. De slaapkamers zijn beide niet voorzien van bijvoorbeeld een tafeltje of kastje om je bagage op te leggen of iets in op te bergen. Je verblijft een week en je spullen liggen noodgedwongen op de grond. Dit ervaren wij als onprettig. De wc is op de woonverdieping en dan smalle gang en trappen op en gang door naar de slaapverdieping. Voor wie slecht ter been is is deze woning niet geschikt. In Durbuy is niets te koop. In de woning is één rol toiletpapier beschikbaar, dus advies om in ieder geval dat mee te nemen. De keuken is goed voorzien van servies en pannen. De tuin is erg fijn om te verblijven met de overkapping voor privacy. De parkeerplaats op loopafstand is een pluspunt.

Date of stay: February 2023 - March 2023Very nice house in an excellent location. Close to the city centre of Durbuy. The house was clean and had all the facilities we needed. The Sauna was particullary nice during the cold days.
