Description:
This alluring holiday apartment on the first floor gets a beautiful view of the forest from the balcony where you can spend quality time sipping your morning beverage. Located in Gros-Fays this home is ideal for couple and has a bedroom which can accommodate 2 people. Get detached from the toxic city life and spend your time in the laps of mother nature in the forest just 500 m away from the house. You can plan various detoxifying cycling and hiking trips in the forest. The house is just 4 km away from the town centre where you will find both a supermarket to get your daily supplies and restaurants to dine-in. Alle-sur-Semois, with its cosy cafes and of course the Semois, is at 4 km. Ideal for kayaking or playing along the water's edge. You can also enjoy nightlife 10 km away from here. And when you arrive back at the apartment after a pleasant walk, the BBQ is ready in the garden and the wood-burning stove crackles nicely. You will find wood at the back of the garden. Relish the cold fresh breeze while preparing delicious grilled food on the barbecue. For the entertainment of kids, the house has a sandpit, table tennis table and other play equipment. For your convenience, the house has heating and parking facility. There is also an electric heater in each room. With the thermostat in each room, the temperature can be regulated. In the winter months, it is almost impossible to heat the apartment with these heating elements alone. The nearest airport is the Brussels South Charleroi Airport 105 km away. Note: You will find the house keys in the key safe hanging next to the door. You will find the code of the key safe on your stay ticket. Form the code and then push down the black lever on the left, and the key safe will open. There is an information folder in the apartment where you will find answers to the most common questions. The cutlery drawer is at the top of the cupboard to the left of the cooker. You therefore need to open the cabinet first, then pull out the cutlery drawer. To open the oven, push the flap above the oven door down with you. The easiest way to heat up the flat quickly is to light the wood stove. It is a simple system and the stove provides heat very quickly. Wood for the wood-burning stove is available free of charge in the woodshed at the back left of the garden. Please be sure to turn off all heating elements before leaving the apartment, as they use a lot of electricity. Before your departure, you should do the dishes, empty the dishwasher and put everything back where it was. Please empty and clean the dustbins and dispose of all rubbish in the dustbin in the car park. Finally, please clean the wood-burning stove before your departure. The wood basket should be filled for the next tenant. The Smart TV features the Firefox browser to surf the internet. Web pages are displayed pretty much like on a computer or your smartphone. Navigate using the remote control. There is a direct link to YouTube. And the VRT app and the RTBF app are also installed for watching Flemish and Walloon television programmes. Via the USB connection, you can connect a USB stick or an external hard disk containing photos or videos, then you can play these directly. Just like on your smartphone, you can install additional apps on the Smart TV. These could include apps to read the latest news, watch missed television broadcasts, apps for games, and you name it. It works in exactly the same way as the smartphone. It is strictly forbidden to smoke in the apartment. Smoking can only be done outside. In order not to disturb other tenants and to avoid breaking glass, it is requested not to play ball in the vicinity of the building.

Nice home. However, the absolute basic necessities weren’t there. We had to complain to the concierge that there was 1/4th of a toilet paper roll when we arrived. She was pretty impolite in her reaction saying ‘it’s what the previous people left, you should take your own’. Im not taking my own TP rolls for a 2 days stay. One basic roll would suffice. There wasn’t any soap to wash anything
