Okrug is a traditional Dalmatian village located on the western side of the island of Čiovo, connected to the famous Trogir town and on to the mainland by the bridge. Donji Okrug is quieter, easy to walk, a bit isolated, but not far from Okrug Gornji, with wider selection of bars, taverns and restaurants. More facilities and entertainment are easily available in Trogir and Split. Once the bus schedule is mastered, traveling by public transport is also easy. In addition, there is a regular boat service to Trogir and from there on to Split, which is a great solution if you are not traveling by car. This recently renovated traditional Dalmatian house is located in an elevated position in the village and from the balconies you have a beautiful view of the bay and strip of the Adriatic Sea to the mainland. This one bedroom apartment covers the first floor of the house. It has a bedroom, while the living room, bedroom and kitchen are combined in one room. Two single sofa beds in the living room can be joined into a double bed. The apartment has a sea view terrace with dining table and coffee table and great views and becomes a relaxing retreat after a day spent at the beach or walking around. The home also benefits from the shared barbecue in the garden in front of the house. The owners occasionally occupy the ground floor. They can be a great help if you need them, otherwise they keep to themselves. There is a free car park nearby, while a small supermarket is just across the street. The nearest pebble beach is a 5-10 minute walk from the house, and it is great to travel with children. Going further along the coast it is always possible to find a secluded place to enjoy the forest and the sea.
