Vir, one of the countless islands off the coast of Zadar, offers its guests many well-landscaped and well-maintained pebble beaches and sandy coves. On the western, uninhabited foothills of the island and on the south side by the historic lighthouse, which is listed as a monument, you will find lonely stretches of beach. There you can also snorkel and dive well. Various shops, restaurants and cafes invite you to linger. Activities in the area: Visit the typical lighthouse, which has been preserved as one of the many other lighthouses on the Adriatic coast.
