Date of stay: October 2022Stunning views &, Location! The house is located on top of a hill overlooking Dubrovnik with stunning views, The house is very spacious and spotlessly clean, The lady that let me in was very friendly and also gave me her Iphone adapter to use, which I had lost, The house is only a 20 min walk from the Pile Gate and is also easily accessible from the airport, I',d recommend staying here if you don,t want to be in centre as it',s very busy, especially if you have a car, Parking is also expensive in the centre which is why Kono was perfect for me!

Date of stay: October 2022Loads of stairs but was worth it!The flat had plently of room, WiFi was great, they supplied toiletries which was very useful, They even had directions for nearest shops and also the quickest way to get to the old town, Outside the flat there was a sign showing where it was, which is so much help considering a lot buildings look very similar, The staff were nice and friendly, The views from the patio where also amazing,

Date of stay: August 2017Owner was very friendly and helpful, We had arranged a pick up from the airport but I would recommend just picking up a taxi at the airport as it would be a lot cheaper, Apartment was clean and had everything we needed, There were 4 of us so 2 of us were sleeping on the fold down bed in the open plan living area which wS fine for a 2 night stay but if you were staying for a longer time it's only really suitable for 2 people, Location was good and as we were high up we had good views, There was a steep winding walk down to the old town which was fine and you could get the no 3 bus from outside the apartment, We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Dubrovnik!

Date of stay: August 2017Location was located 30 min from old town, with no public transport around, Owners were nearby so it was easy to meet with them and get the keys, The place is a suite, smaller than expected but there was a litle fridge and the neighbourhood was quite,

Date of stay: June 2017Apartment accommodated 5 people but only myself and husband went, The place was spacious enough, air-conditioned as well, but would be a little cramped in the kitchen area owing to the large dining table/chairs there, along with the sofa, All amenities were provided and our host was very helpful and pleasant and offered us help in any way that he could, The views of Dubrovnik and the Lapad Peninsula were stunning but the only downside to this place was its location as the good supermarkets were over a 25 minute walk away, and these were located down by the main harbour, There were the odd small ones scattered about but they did not stock much of a selection, You would need a car if staying in these apartments, as the climb up the many many steps to it is very exhausting, There is a bus stop across the road from the apartment, but the bus we were after to take us into the town did not seem to pass by that way, The walk down to the Old Town would take about 20 minutes but the climb back up would be difficult ,,,,but great exercise, My husband and I eventually got used to it, The town, itself, is very pretty and full of tourists, as we went in May 2017, The weather was very warm and we only had one day of rain there, which helped to cool things down a little, Plenty of buses in the town to take you around the surrounding areas and the main bus station was located down by the harbour, Tourist Office was right by the PILE GATE into the Old Town and we found the girls in there very helpful and friendly, Unfortunately, this was not the case with the local retail staff as we found them unpleasant and not helpful at all, It came across as if it was too much trouble for them to assist us in any way, and this was especially the case at the Bus Ticket Offices, supermarkets, bakeries and on certain buses, This can put a bit of a 'damper' on one's holiday, The food selection does not appear to be as 'rich' in selection as in the western world, as it appeared more healthy with plenty of salads and vegees to accompany the main dishes, Deserts seemed to be more in line with what we would have here, There are a few excursions to take in Dubrovnik, but I would say that the main ones would operate from SPLIT, which is about 4 hours drive up the coast, We did find some of the excursions expensive, as was the cost of living there, However, if you do want to go on an excursion, try the Three Island Group Tour, as it was extremely reasonable and included the whole day out with lunch and drinks on board the boat, The islands were beautiful and the time allowed on each was most adequate,

Date of stay: October 2016Kono-house is situated on the highest mainroad in D, From the balcony you can see the most beautiful view over the town and to the sea with its islands, sailing boats, ferries etc, There was no air traffic on that side of the city which was also nice, It was easy to use buses for the bus stops were just few steps from the apartment, Also you can walk to town, it is only 2 km downhill, In D, there is many interesting places to see around the whole city, not just in the old town, Dubrovnik is very tidy city and nobody tried to cheat us nor stole anything, There are interesting places also quite near to make a day trip, like Cavtat and Korcula,

Date of stay: September 2016This place was perfect for 3 people! More than enough space: one bedroom for two (with door), pull-out couch for one person (but could definitely fit 2), small kitchen with amenities, large bathroom with shower/tub and washing machine, and nice dining room area, We especially enjoyed the parking spot, so we didn't have to pay to park in Dubrovnik, The apartment is a 15-20 minute walk to Dubrovnik's old town, however, it is all down hill one way, and ALL up hill going back-- LOTS of stairs, Walking is not recommended for those with ambulatory problems, and the bus stop is close by if you choose not to walk, The pictures and directions made our arrival very quick and efficient, There was also an outdoor seating area for us to enjoy our breakfasts and drinks, If we ever find ourselves back in Dubrovnik, we will be sure to stay here again!

Date of stay: May 2016Nikola' s apartment was start of our Croatia trip and was amazing, Apartment view was awesome! Balcony overlooked the water, Just breathtaking view of the water, Rooms were very spacious and very clean, Nice air flow in evenings made sleeping very comfortable, 10 to 15 minute walk to old town, Great location to walk to old city Dubrovnik, Well furnished apartment, Parking spot for car was very nice to have, Met by Dominik at move in, He was extremely helpful and had great tips about places to eat and see in Dubrovnik, Great young man, My family and I give this apartment a big thumbs up (10 out of 10), If you like leisurely walks to explore old town Dubrovnik and all it has to offer, then this is the place to stay, I would come back to this apartment in a heartbeat, Thank you Nikola, Dominik, and Marko for an absolutely wonderful place to stay and explore Dubrovnik, The Lovrics from New York State, USA
