On the small island Bjørnø in the South Funen archipelago you will find this gem. It is not possible to bring a car to Bjørnø. The cottage was built in 1870, but continuously renovated with great emphasis on preserving the old atmosphere. In 2019, the cottage has been completely renovated. There are beds for six in three bedrooms. The kitchen is connected to the dining / living room and is equipped with i.a. ceramic hobs and refrigerator. Everywhere in the cottage there is a fast internet connection. From the living room there is access to a cozy patio with playground for the little ones. Exercise room with i.a. treadmills, bicycles and weights are for free use. In the corner of the courtyard you will find a cozy orangery, perfect for the slightly cooler summer evenings. The cottage is a stone's throw from the small harbor, where you call at the & # 160; ferry & # 160; from Faaborg, which takes 15 min. You can of course also sail to the island in your own boat, kayak or canoe. The island is a favorite destination for kayakers and other recreational sailors. On the island there is a small winery as well as a & # 160; cozy little cafe. Bjørnø is only 150 ha in size, so you can walk around the island along the coast in a couple of hours. The trip offers flat beach meadows with a rich bird life and high cliffs with the most beautiful views of Funen and the neighbors in the South Funen Archipelago. All shopping takes place in Faaborg. It is possible to rent a luxury linen package for DKK 125, -, directly from the homeowner. It contains linen, towel, beach towel, tea towels and dishcloth. Not for rent to youth groups.
