In the living room there is both a wood stove and air / air heat pump, so even on the cool winter days it is possible to sit and enjoy the crackle of the stove. The cottage is only approx. 300 m from absolutely good bathing beach. Gjerrild is one of the best places on Djursland for coastal fishing.
