There is a small pathway that leads to the river, where you find a terrace with a table, bench and canoe at your disposal (use at your own risk). The house is thoroughly renovated with a focus on the old style. This is a good spot for nature lovers. You can have a wilderness holiday where you can sail, fish, grill and make bonfires, and there is a playground with playhouse, swing and sandbox.

De accommodatie was wat klein - wij sliepen met vijf mensen (2 volwassenen, drie kinderen) op één kamertje en onze dochter sliep op de overloop. De verlichting in het huisje was niet erg goed (kapotte lampen), en de zitplaatsen niet erg comfortabel. Maar de omgeving was prachtig en aangezien we er iedere dag lang op uit gingen, was het niet erg om vroeg naar bed te gaan.
