La Vallee was a very peaceful location. Shops were only a few minutes away by car in Combourg and Dol de Bretagne, both towns offered good restaurants and shopping facilities. The accomodation was very comfortable and had plenty of parking away from the road. Wildlife in the area was varied and we saw owls, squirrels, birds of prey and a woodpecker. We used the home as a base to travel to other parts.....
