Welcome to Les Hirondelles, our charming holiday home that takes its name from the graceful swallows. Located in the picturesque village of Félines Minervois, in the heart of the enchanting Languedoc region, this idyllic retreat offers everything you need for a relaxing and unforgettable holiday. Just a 15-minute drive from picturesque Minerve and half an hour from the historic city of Carcassonne, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Les Hirondelles is the perfect base for your adventure.
The property boasts a fully enclosed 4000 m² garden, furnished with plenty of cosy nooks and flowerbeds where you can find both sun and shade. The garden is dotted with several fruit trees - depending on the season, you can pick your own apples, pears, figs, olives and cherries here.
Around the house there are several terraces, including a main terrace with a heated 10x5-metre outdoor swimming pool equipped with Roman steps and a jacuzzi. Close to the kitchen you will find a covered terrace with a built-in barbecue, ideal for cosy summer evenings.
The house itself has an area of 174 m², spread over two floors, and offers a pleasant climate all year round thanks to a heat pump and underfloor heating. This system provides heat in winter and cooling in summer, partly powered by solar panels for eco-friendly comfort.
On the ground floor you will find a spacious entrance hall with a separate storage room for shoes, coats and suitcases, and a separate toilet. Further along is a cosy lounge with views of the garden and access to the terrace via two double sliding windows, which can be closed in the evening with electrically operated shutters. The adjoining dining room seats eight guests and the open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with enough cutlery and crockery for the same number of people. Here you will also find a dishwasher, a three-burner induction hob, a fridge freezer, a double sink, a coffee machine, a kettle, a mixer, a hand mixer, an oven with plate warmer and a microwave.
Behind the kitchen is the utility room with plenty of storage space, a washing machine and a dryer. The utility room has direct access to the garage, which can accommodate one car. The front garden also has space for additional vehicles, in case you come with several cars.
On the ground floor, there are also three bedrooms, each with plenty of storage space thanks to built-in wardrobes, and a bathroom with walk-in rain shower, toilet and sink.
Via the stairs you reach the first floor, where the master bedroom is located with its own dressing room and separate bathroom. This luxurious bathroom has a toilet, double washbasin, a spacious bathtub and a walk-in rain shower.

Very beautiful and fantastic view.(We received this enthusiastic response this season and would like to mention it.)Beaufort has 320 Sundays a year!Location:Beaufort is 2 kilometers away from the lively Olonzac. In Olonzac it is a market every Tuesday. There is a large supermarket, cozy terraces and restaurants.Beaches:The beautiful and quiet sandy beaches of Narbonne and Beziers are 30-45 min away and are ideal for children of all ages. You can surf, kite surf and take sailing lessons.Shop:In the cities of Narbonne and Beziers there are plenty of shopping opportunities.Culture:Special is the Cité of Carcassonne, a medieval fortified city that was completely restored in the 19th century and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.The Minervois is a wine-growing region on the border of the departments of Aude and Hérault. The name is derived from Minerve, one of the most beautiful places in France.On the Canal du Midi are many nice villages such as Homps, 5 km from Beaufort or Le Somail at 19 km. From these cozy harbors you can take a boat trip on the canal. In Le Somail you will find a large bookstore Le Trouve Tout du Livre, a paradise for literature lovers!Activities:For the sporty holidaymaker, there are plenty of opportunities in the area: walking, running, cycling, mountain biking and canoeing.Next to the village of Homps is the Lac de Jouarres, a large recreational lake where you can fish, swim and enjoy water sports (supervised in July and August).
