The climb to the top is rewarded with breathtaking vistas—a must-visit for both the spiritual and the admirers of architectural beauty.
Château d'If, a historical Island Retreat : embark on a boat trip to the nearby Frioul archipelago to discover the infamous Château d'If. The boat ride itself provides a unique perspective of Marseille's coastline.
Le Panier, Marseille's Bohemian Quarter : wander through the narrow alleys and vibrant squares of Le Panier, Marseille's oldest district. This bohemian neighbourhood is a delightful maze of colourful buildings, street art, and charming boutiques. Discover hidden gems, stop for a coffee at a local café, and immerse yourself in the laid-back atmosphere of this eclectic quarter.
Calanques National Park, nature's Masterpiece : escape the urban bustle and venture to the Calanques, a series of rugged inlets with crystal-clear waters framed by limestone cliffs. Calanques National Park, a short drive from Marseille, is a haven for hikers, nature enthusiasts, and beach lovers. Choose a trail that suits your preferences and be prepared to be mesmerized by the pristine beauty of these natural wonders.
Cassis, a Mediterranean Jewel of Tranquillity and Charm
Some 20 kilometres from Marseille, Cassis is a picturesque coastal town that captivates visitors with its breathtaking landscapes, azure waters, and authentic Provencal charm. This idyllic haven, located just a short drive from Marseille, offers a perfect blend of relaxation and exploration. Join us on a journey to discover the allure of Cassis, where dramatic cliffs, intimate beaches, and delectable wines await.
The Calanques, nature's Masterpiece : Cassis is renowned for its proximity to the Calanques, a series of stunning limestone fjords that carve into the coastline. Accessible both from Marseille and Cassis, these natural wonders, with their turquoise waters and towering cliffs, are a haven for hikers and nature enthusiasts.
Boat Tours: consider taking a boat tour to explore the Calanques from the sea. It provides a unique perspective and allows you to access secluded coves and beaches.
Cassis vineyards and Wine Tasting: Cassis is renowned for its exceptional wines, particularly its white wines made from the local Marsanne and Clairette grape varieties.
