? In the heart of the old town of Colmar, classified as a historic monument, Le Duplex des Dominicains is a superb 100m² duplex renovated in spring 2019, with lots of charm. It is located in a quiet building at the foot of the Dominican church and its Christmas market in December.

? You will be close to shops, restaurants and bars as well as the various tourist and cultural centers of Colmar.

?This apartment is equipped with two spacious bedrooms with 2 single beds each, and storage on the main level.
? A bathroom with bathtub and washing machine as well? a separate toilet completes this level.
? Upstairs, the bright living room is made up of a kitchen area, dining area as well as a lounge area with sofa and television.
? The kitchen is equipped (fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, ceramic hob, hood, dishwasher, classic Nespresso coffee maker, kettle, toaster, frying pans, pots, dishes and kitchen utensils).
? The third bedroom is equipped with a double bed and has ? a separate toilet completes the accommodation.

??The apartment is on the 3rd floor with elevator. There are 3 steps between the elevator and the apartment.

? You can take advantage of a private parking space (vehicle less than 1m80) which is located in the basement of "22 rue du rempart" under the MERCURE hotel (it is 350 meters on foot from the apartment) .
?The apartment and the garage are not in the same location. The remote control for access to the parking lot is located on the kitchen table, you have to walk to the apartment before accessing the parking lot.
?The apartment is located in the pedestrian zone of downtown Colmar.
? In front of the Mercure Hotel you will find free parking spaces for 30 minutes with a parking disc (blue disc).

For Georges Duhamel (who wrote it in 1931), Colmar was the “most beautiful city in the world”. It has also often been said that it was the most Alsatian of the cities of Alsace!
Without going into overkill with superlatives, Colmar undoubtedly remains a completely exceptional city due to the richness and variety of its historical and architectural heritage.
It is located near Germany and Switzerland, between the Vosges and the Rhine, Strasbourg and Mulhouse. The city offers visitors a striking overview of more than a thousand years of European history. Furthermore, Colmar retains, with its 67,000 inhabitants, an endearing side of a “country town” which gives it all its charm.
Despite the vagaries of a turbulent history, the city has managed to preserve an exceptional homogeneity of its historic center which, classified as a “protected area”, has benefited from restoration and permanent enhancement. The vast pedestrian zone of the old town allows visitors to admire the countless riches of a heritage as rich as it is varied, ranging from the Middle Ages to the 20th century.
Whether it is the Maison des Têtes (erected at the beginning of the 17th century) which owes its name to the 111 heads which adorn its facade, or the Maison Pfister, a beautiful bourgeois residence from the Renaissance period but of medieval design, each of its monuments is unique in his type.
The religious art of Colmar is also very rich: the Dominican Church which houses the famous “Virgin of the Rose Bush” by the Alsatian painter and engraver Martin Schongauer, as well as the Saint Martin Collegiate Church are wonderful examples of pure and sober Gothic art, very simple.

?Bed and bathroom linen as well as standard final cleaning at the end of your stay are included in the price. This includes changing bed linen, general cleaning of the apartment and bathrooms.

? However, it is your responsibility to clean and put away the dishes, take out the trash, empty the refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave as well as tidy up inside the apartment. If you do not want to take care of this, you can order a supplement called “full cleaning” of the apartment for 30 euros before your arrival. In the absence of prior reservation for this option, and in the event of non-compliance with these instructions, you will be charged penalties of €60 cleaning costs.

? You will be asked to sign a digital contract and your identity document via the Yaago platform after booking, as well as information for the police form, in accordance with current regulations. If the identity of the people present during the stay does not match that of the reservation, we reserve the right to refuse you access to the accommodation.
