Located in Roes, this holiday home with 2 bedrooms is set near beautiful forest. It offers a paid sauna, terrace, and barbecue and is ideal for a family of 4 to stay.
The place is famous for "Traumpfade + -pfädchen", natural streams, the Moselle and mysterious castles. Close to the Maare and the Nürburgring and the most beautiful suspension bridge in Germany, the "Geierlay" (about 30 minutes by car). In about 1 hour you reach the oldest city in Germany, Trier, on the Luxembourg border. You can reach Koblenz in half an hour, where the German Rhine and the German Mosel flow together.
We offer you a lovingly restored farmhouse of approx. 60 m² dating from the 18th century for a wonderful vacation. In the open kitchen, you will find all the necessary comforts, including a ceramic hob, oven, fridge-freezer and a dishwasher. The bathroom has a shower and a small bathtub.The ground floor is equipped with underfloor heating.The bedrooms are accessible via a steep, open staircase (please note - not suitable for disabled or small children). Upstairs a separate bedroom with a double bed and an open bedroom with two single beds. In the courtyard, you can enjoy the sun and relax.
The sauna is available from mid-April.

Date of stay: July 2020Das Haus ist nicht groß, bietet aber ausreichend Platz für eine kleine Familie oder wie in unserem Fall sogar für zwei Pärchen. Alles ist schön renoviert und modernisiert, ohne dass das einzigartige Flair eines alten Bauerngebäudes auf der Strecke verloren ging. Dabei fallen dem Gast eine Menge mit Liebe gemachten Details auf, die nur aus einen guten Geschmack und viel designerischer Phantasie entstehen konnten. Der zur Sonne gewandte, zur Straße geschützte Innenhof ist gemütlich, hier kann man frühstücken oder gar Party feiern. Es bietet auch genug Platz für ein Auto. Mobil sollte man allerdings sein, da es im Ort keinen Bäcker gibt! Die Kirche gegenüber bietet einen schönen Ausblick und läutet nur einmal pro Tag, stören tut es nicht. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Date of stay: December 2019Wij zijn met onze zoon van 9 jaar een week in het huis verbleven in december. Contact met eigenaar verliep prettig. Kwartier voor aankomst hebben we hem een bericht gestuurd. Toen we aankwamen had hij het hek geopend en liet hij kort het huisje en sauna zien. Huisje is prachtig. Klein maar fijn. Het ziet er allemaal goed verzorgt uit. De Eifel vinden we ook prachtig. Meerdere wandelingen gedaan in de omgeving. Wel veelal met de auto. Erg leuk om heen te gaan om lekker taart te eten is Café Roeschen. Ook de moeite waard om heen te gaan en niet ver rijden is Monreal. Ook schitterend stadje. Handig om te weten, in de schuur staan verschillende kratten waar je je afval kunt scheiden. Ook PMD. Daar kwamen we halverwege de week pas achter. Als we vragen hadden konden appten we de eigenaar en hij reageerde altijd snel.

De locatie is rustig (mei) en een goed uitgangspunt voor vele wandelingen en uitjes. Tip voldoende cash geld mee als je ergens iets wilt drinken/eten. Onze ervaring is dat er in veel eet/drink gelegenheden (nog) geen mogelijkheid is om te pinnen.

Date of stay: April 2019De communicatie was goed en toegang tot het huisje verliep heel soepel. Het huisje was knus en gezellig en van alle gemakken voorzien. De omgeving is heel erg mooi om in te wandelen. We hebben genoten van de rust en de natuur.

Het dal van de Elzbach is prachtig voor wandelingen in verschillende seizoenen. Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien, inclusief goed bed.
