To the north is Denmark and the North Sea island of Rømø is also only 50 km away. And to the east you can discover the East Coast, Flensburg, fishing and the Danish South Seas not less far away. The historic town of Møgeltøndern is just a few minutes' drive away. The outdoor pool in Aventoft is open every day during the summer season. In the border town of Süderlügum (9 km), the supermarkets are also open on Sundays.
