The old town of the small town of Wittenburg is surrounded by a well-preserved rampart, the remains of which have been restored. The church and the town hall of Wittenburg are also worth seeing. Shops, restaurants and cafés can be found in town. In the well-known Alpincenter there is not only the possibility to go skiing all year round but also a lot of events. Due to the good connection to the motorway, trips to Hamburg, Schwerin and Wismar are worthwhile.
