Newly built holiday home in Scandinavian style in the middle of the Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve. You will definitely feel very comfortable in the modern and tasteful rooms. A spacious sun terrace with garden furniture and loungers invites you to spend relaxing hours under the parasol on warm days. In the evenings it gets cozy with a barbecue - and you should also try some wonderfully fresh fish from the Schaalsee fishery. Of course you can also just fish for your own fish. You live just 1300 meters from the Schaalsee, there is a boat rental and a beautiful lido for bathing and swimming.

Zarrentin is considered the gateway to the Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve. In the town you will find various shops as well as restaurants, a lake promenade and a lido. Worth seeing are the former Cistercian monastery, of which the east wing is still preserved today, and the local history museum founded in 1988, which focuses on the town and regional history.

The Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve is recognized by UNESCO and as a nature lover you will come across many rare animals and plants here, which are best discovered on hikes and bike tours. A designated network of cycle and hiking trails of more than 180 kilometers in length leads you through pure and unspoiled nature. The Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve is located directly on the former inner-German border. A circular hike across the Strangen peninsula and along the Kirchensee impressively shows how formerly populated areas and border installations have been and are being reclaimed by nature. The just over 40-kilometer-long bike tour around the Schaalsee is also very beautiful.
