You live on the edge of the Müritz National Park and can reach the lake with boat rentals on foot via a small forest path. Places worth seeing such as Neustrelitz, Waren and Templin or nature parks such as the Stechlin-Ruppiner Land or the Nossentiner-Schwinzer Heide can be reached quickly by car. There is a grocery store for everyday needs and a restaurant in the village.
