Experience a holiday with your children in the rhythm of the tides - bathing fun and wave jumping at high tide, digging or mud fighting at low tide! The Steinmarne open-air swimming pool, the Kurhaus and the enchanting spa park are all within short distances.

Activities in the area: Cuxhaven offers a varied program for all guests. Sports enthusiasts can get active themselves and discover the area by bike or on foot. In summer you have the opportunity to cheer on athletes at numerous tournaments on the beach. Take advantage of the perfect location for trips to the offshore island of Helgoland or Neuwerk. Here you are spoiled for choice: do you take the ferry over and walk back through the mudflats? Or take a trip to the small island by horse-drawn carriage. Alternatively, the nearby Duhner Heide nature reserve between Geest and Marsch offers a varied landscape with attractive hiking trails.
