The lively fishing village of Büsum, with its newly designed main promenade, offers its guests a multitude of activities, ranging from the Vital Parcours in Büsum's wellness garden to water sports, cycling, golf and horse riding. Boat trips, museum harbor and fishing are the maritime face of the city. Considered the gateway to the Wadden Sea National Park, Büsum has been a seaside resort on the North Sea for over 175 years.

For walkers, there is an attractive network of footpaths in the region, some along ancient, historic routes and paths. Cyclists also find their happiness in the flat plains of the swamp. The area offers several excursion destinations. Take boat trips from Brunsbüttel. The unique seal station in Friedrichskoog is a popular destination. A day trip to Helgoland, the only island off the coast of Germany, which you can reach from Büsum, promises pure variety. Or stroll through the weekly market in the beautiful town of Heide on Saturdays.

Wij hadden langer geboekt maar vanwege het weer zijn we na 3 dagen vertrokken. Het huis was ruim genoeg en schoon. Het voldeed aan onze wensen. Nadeel van deze omgeving bij regen is er niets te doen in de omgeving.
