The house is located directly on the old Büsum dike. A staircase that leads a few meters further up and over the dyke takes you to the large lawn area in front of the dyke, or you can walk along the top of the dyke in the direction of the harbour. Büsum is ideal for a family vacation or short break at the North Sea. Lots of space, wide, flat landscapes for cycling and walking, a healthy climate and the mudflats promise relaxation and recreation. The picturesque town of Husum is not far away and St. Peter-Ording with its famous white beaches is also worth a visit. Take boat trips from Brunsbüttel or visit the seal station in Friedrichskoog. A day trip to Helgoland, Germany's only offshore island, which you can reach from Büsum, promises pure variety. Or stroll through the weekly market in the pretty town of Heide on Saturdays.
