Around 50 km of hiking trails and around 200 km of cycle paths invite you to extensive tours in the multifaceted nature. Kilometer-long walks on the beach or along the shifting dunes are just as possible as mudflat hikes. In Westerland, restaurants, bars and cafés invite you to spend pleasant hours. Concerts take place in the music shell on the beach promenade and various museums, galleries and exhibitions are available for culture lovers.
