Or look forward to a wellness day for a change: the holiday park has a large sauna area with a heated indoor pool (for a fee). Of course you can also splash around in the large outdoor pool (for a fee) and have a cocktail mixed at the bar. In the area there are some shops for daily needs and restaurants as well as a snack bar on the beach. Hohe Düne is a district of Rostock and a state-approved Baltic Sea resort. The place got its name from the dune, which used to be about a kilometer east of the mouth of the Warnow. On the way to Kuehlungsborn we recommend a stop in Bad Doberan. By the way, from here you could continue with the "Molli", the spa steam train.
