A few steps separate you from the lake with bathing area and rowing boat. After a short drive you can reach the beaches of Usedom.

The region south-west of the backwaters and the Peenestrom is characterized by wide meadows, fields, moors and forests. The small municipality of Zemitz, not far from Greifswald, is an ideal starting point due to its proximity to the Baltic Sea island of Usedom. You will find good shopping facilities and everything for your daily needs in Wolgast (nine kilometers).

In Greifswald, about 30 kilometers away, Germany's largest museum harbor and its own sailing training ship invite you to maritime experiences.
