The surroundings invite for walks in the harbor area and beach trips to the lovely sandy beach, which is in immediate connection with the harbor area. On the nearby isthmus, Bottsand, there is also a magnificent sandy beach. Here you can choose between textile beach and nudist beach. If you want to watch the world's biggest sailing event, Kieler Woche, which usually takes place the last whole week in June, you have the perfect starting point here.
