The mill also has a large garden, which is partly fenced in and partly surrounded by bushes and hedges. So you have found a wonderful place all around, where you can switch off and enjoy the private atmosphere. Your holiday resort of Medelby is located a good 20 kilometers from the gates of Flensburg, on the border with Denmark. In the village there is a bakery, supermarket, doctors and a bank. It is about 15 kilometers to the beaches of the Baltic Sea, and you will also find 3 natural bathing lakes nearby. The geographic location is also ideal for a trip to the North Sea, the Dagebüll pier (ferry dock to the island of Föhr) can be reached by car in around 45 minutes, for example.
