Cooking lessons for who wants to learn how to prepare delicious Italian home-made food with Mrs Anne-Marie and Sandra. Miss Elisa teaches you how to make the best pizza in the world. There’s a museum for everyone! Within a range of 20 km there is a nature museum, wildlife museum, maths museum, bread museum, cheese museum, mining museum, fossil museum, art museum, home museum, and church museum, as well as Medieval castles with their high towers from which the views are just fantastic! This area is rich in its traditions and they’re kept alive with enthusiasm. You can always find a festival going on in one of the nearby villages, whether ancient, gastronomical, antique , religious or historical. If you’re feeling brave, you could try the festival of frogs or visit a Tuscan truffle-feast? Take a day-trip to one of the beautiful seaside towns nearby: Rimini, Riccione, and Cattolica with their long, broad, sandy beaches. Visit aquatic fun-parks and sealife centres, or sample some great shopping, and some of the most famous Italian discos. The blackberries are very common in this area so feel free to go and pick them!

Date of stay: July 2012Verblijf in volledig ingericht appartement/huisje in de nabijheid van een klein dorp in het achterland van Rimini. Uitstekend en verzorgd onderkomen in een authentiek gerenoveerde accomodatie en – zelfs voor Nederlandse begrippen – prettig schoon. De schoonmaak wordt gedaan door de Finse eigenaresse zelf, die voortreffelijk Engels spreekt. Het uitzicht is uniek, de directe omgeving landelijk en zeer rustig. In het land van de Montefeltro’s en Malatesta’s is veel te bezoeken en te ontdekken: prachtige, verstilde natuur en naast bekendere plaatsen als Rimini en San Sepulchro betoverende middeleeuwse dorpjes zoals San Leo en Sant’Agata Feltria met een van de oudste theaters van Italië. De zeer vriendelijke, gastvrije eigenaresse is uiterst behulpzaam (zonder opdringerig te zijn) bij het geven van tips voor bijzondere (ook culinaire) uitstapjes naar plaatsen/gelegenheden die je als niet-Italiaan nooit zou ontdekken. Meer dan één verblijf waard!
