The house does not have a stationary heating system. The average temperatures are mild in winter and the ideal stay period is from April / October. Airports and their distance from the holiday home: Comiso: 45 km (recommended) Catania: 74 km Palermo: 229 km Trapani: 310 km ---- A review: 14 okt 2014 C.S., Sydney, Australië We spent eight wonderful days here with another couple. The owners Aurora and Vincenzo were wonderful hosts, greeting us with a meal the evening we arrived, and giving us much assistance in where to eat, how to get to places, and helping us in many other ways which made our stay in Sicily such a marvellous experience. The house and bedrooms were comfortable, the outdoor living area was something we looked forward to returning to at the end of each day, especially the swimming pool. The only drawback was the very small kitchen but the lovely, large, cool patio with barbecue area more than compensated. Aurora and Vincenzo gave us a pizza making demonstration one evening, Aurora showing us (amidst much laughter) how to make the pizza dough and Enzo cooked the finished product using the wood-fired pizza oven in the outdoor eating area. Do enjoy this unusual experience! The house is ideally located for visiting the many varied and fascinating towns and points of interest in the eastern part of Sicily. We would love to return one day.

Date of stay: September 2019 - October 2019Hartelijke ontvangst door de eigenaren. Mooi accommodatie met fijne tuin, buitenverblijf en ruim zwembad. Ruime slaapkamers met helaas wel erg harde bedden. Matrassen aan vervanging toe? Gerenoveerde badkamers. Keuken erg klein en sterk verouderd. Wel goed voorzien van servies etc. Koelkast staat in woonkamer en maakt 24/7 veel lawaai. Accommodatie ligt in een rustige omgeving en vrij ver van faciliteiten zoals winkels e.d. Geen of nauwelijks mobiel bereik. Wel WiFi beschikbaar.

Date of stay: September 2018Our holiday was perfect! The house was also perfect. A week before the holiday Aurora texted us on whatsapp to get some information about the arrival en if there was anything we needed. This was very useful, because you can ask about anything and they will help you. The moment we arrived at the house, they showed us around. Also Enzo and Aurora bought us bread, made sure there was water, fruit and also wine on top of that Enzo made his lasagna for us for the first night, which was very delicious! What I found very special is their kindness and there sincerity. The house felt like a home, and the pool is so big! They have a great outdoor living where you can sit even if it rains. It is also a great location because you are close to supermarkets (5 min) in Caltagirone. This house is a recommendation for everybody who wants to have holiday which is mixed with relaxing days and with adventure. When we sat outside by the pool or in the garden, it was so quiet over there, very relaxing! Thank you for everything Enzo and Aurora, we enjoyed ourselves!

Date of stay: July 2018 - August 2018Hartelijke ontvangst door Aurora en Enzo. Aurora spreekt redelijk Engels. We kregen een heerlijke Lasagne aangeboden. Huis is erg mooi. Heel groot overkapt buitenterras, grote buitentuin. Heel groot (en aan een kant ook diep) zwembad. Let op de zeer forse bijkomende en niet vermijdbare kosten voor elektra en gas. (34,50 Euro per nacht).

Date of stay: May 2018Ruime helemaal vrij gelegen woning met goed formaat zwembad. net buiten Caltagirone. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Buiten ruimte, buiten keuken, BBQ en een pizza oven. Bijzonder vriendelijke verhuurders. Bij onze late aankomst stond er een zelf gemaakte lasagne klaar met een fles wijn en proseco, fruit. De volgende dag kwam de eigenaar weer met een lokale lekkernij van de bakker. Let wel op de bij komende kosten! Allerzins de moeite waard om hier een weekje door te brengen

Date of stay: July 2015Een heerlijk huis met fantastisch zwembad. Een goede plek om een deel van het zuid oosten te verkennen. De buiten douche en keuken samen met het overdekte terras waren super. De hartelijke ontvangst met zelfgemaakte lasagne en brood zorgden voor een warm welkom.
