Farmhouse Casa OlivoCaprese Michelangelo - Italy (IT-29123)
Casa Olivo
Description
We are located in the birthplace of Michelangelo. This property is located on the upper floor of a renovated barn and has its own entrance. The roof is supported by large wooden beams and in front of the entrance there is a patio from which to enjoy a magnificent view. The architectural features, such as the gabled ceiling made entirely of wood, and some of the antique furnishings, link it to tradition in terms of atmosphere, but the comfort is all modern.
Accommodation is on the estate, in the middle of the Apennines with a view of the surrounding hills and Lake Montedoglio. The oldest part of the farm is an old medieval tower dating back to 1400. Over the centuries, additions have been made to the tower. Gradually the estate grew and the current owner still works the land and at the end of the last century he restored the tower and the adjacent house in style.
The great art cities of Tuscany, Florence, Arezzo and Siena and of Umbria, Gubbio, Perugia and Assisi can be visited in one day from the Terra di Michelangelo.
on request Italian breakfast (sweet only) 7 euros per person per night or full breakfast (sweet and savoury) 13 euros per person per night
