Description

Villa Il Brio is located in the countryside, in a scenic spot suitable for beautiful walks in the hills and is only 3 km from the centre of Pistoia, a characteristic Tuscan city, rich in history and monuments. Pistoia was elected 'Italian Capital of Culture' in 2017 and is definitely worth a visit. In the evening, the centre of Pistoia comes alive thanks to the presence of numerous typical restaurants and cultural activities, particularly in July. It offers free Wi-Fi, a panoramic swimming pool, and air conditioning. For your relaxation you will have a furnished garden, barbecue and a swimming pool equipped with sun beds and umbrellas where you can relax after a hectic day full of sightseeing.

For those who love cooking, the property has 2 well-equipped kitchens with coffee maker, ovens, toasters, cookers and refrigerators, microwave oven as well as enough crockery and cutlery for up to 12 people. If you prefer to eat outdoors, there is a large covered veranda in the garden equipped with tables and chairs where you can enjoy the good weather and the view during your meals. At your disposal is a barbecue and, on request, a wood-fired oven for bread and pizza.
We collaborate with the "LA FATTORIA" breeding farm, which organises horseback riding trips in the countryside or in the surrounding woods from the age of 14 and up. From summer 2023 there will probably also be the possibility of organising riding lessons for the little ones.

The villa is in a central location for visiting the northern part of Tuscany. In particular, at a distance of about an hour's drive there are: Florence with its art treasures (40 Km) Pisa (50 Km) with the Piazza dei Miracoli and the Leaning Tower, Lucca with its splendid city walls (45 Km) Montecatini and Monsummano with its thermal baths and grottos (20 minutes), the high Tuscan-Emilian Apennines with its splendid mountains equipped for winter sports and for trekking and mountain-bike trips in summer.

Tips Owner

The beautiful city of Lucca (30 min) wrapped in its feature walls and Versilia with its famous sandy beaches of Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi (50 min) are easily reached since the house is located just 5 minutes from exit Pistoia of the A11 Firenze-Mare There's also a horseriding school not far from the house with several routes to try and see the zone. For the people who are coming in July, definately go to Pistoia Blues! A Music Festival with different concerts all around town.

Het complex heeft een prachtige ligging. We hadden de accommodatie Il Brio in zijn totaliteit, waardoor we veel ruimte hadden. Het zwembad deelden we met de gasten van de andere accommodatie aan de overzijde van de weg. Dan nog voldoende plek. Alles wordt goed onderhouden en schoongemaakt. De eigenaresse zorgde voor een enorme plus. Erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Bij een vraag naar een goed restaurant, was er niet alleen een tip, ook de reservering nam ze over en een relaxte stranddag hebben we mede aan haar te danken. Wij gaan zeker nog een keer terug naar deze fijne plek in het prachtige Toscane.

Fantastische locatie midden tussen de olijfbomen. Appartement is schoon en ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. We werden gastvrij ontvangen door de schatten van eigenaars. Wij komen hier absoluut nog een keer terug!

De accommodatie was mooi. Alle slaapkamers waren voorzien van airco. een welkome verrassing met mooi zomers weer. het was ons alleen niet duidelijk dat er ook appartementen werden verhuurd in hetzelfde gebouw. De gastheer en gastvrouw waren bijzonder vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Zij wonen aan de achterzijde van de woning. Er was een wasmachine die gebruikt mocht worden. Vers fruit aan de bomen. Een auto is wel noodzakelijk. Het centrum van Pistoia was op een kleine tien minuten rijden. Vele restaurantjes met heerlijk eten.
