You are in the green hills of the Val di Chio, just 15 km from Castiglion Fiorentino. The village is surrounded by nature, which means that you can take beautiful walks here.

A careful renovation has brought La Casa del NOno to life again. The house has a rustic style, old beams on the ceiling and a cosy fireplace. All this contributes to a warm and intimate atmosphere. The front of the house is surrounded by a garden and has garden furniture, a barbecue and a small house with laundry. The beautiful swimming pool (6m x 4m, depth 1.20 m) with sunbeds and a parasol is exclusive to guests.

Goed huisje maar afgelegen. Prachtig gelegen tussen de heuvels. Echte een authentiek oud huis. Fijn zwembad. Uiterst rustig. Grote supermarkt in Castiglion Fiorentino is NIET binnen 5 km maar op 20 minuten rijden. Redelijk schoon maar daar is ruimte voor verbetering. Het water uit de kranen stonk maar die geur ruik je in de hele omgeving en kan ook komen omdat we in een tijd van droogte daar waren. Prachtige omgeving en mooie plaatsjes in de omgeving. Aanraders zijn Cortona (waar de Amerikaanse schrijfster Frances Mayes - Under the Tuscan Sun) een huis heeft en Arezzo waar scenes uit films als La Vita e Bella en the English Patiënt zijn opgenomen. De opvang door de huiseigenaar was uitstekend. WiFi was wel aanwezig. Mobiele telefoon ontvangst was minimaal.
