Cisternino, the most beautiful town in the Valle d'itra, has an excellently preserved historic old town with narrow and winding streets and the typical whitewashed houses. There are chic shops, cafés and numerous tattorias that offer traditional Apulian cuisine in a romantic atmosphere.
