A free shuttle bus also takes you to Peschiera. Peschiera is certainly the most characteristic place on Lake Garda, situated on the flat southern shore, surrounded by gentle meadows and forests. The town center consists of three built-up and inhabited islands located where Lake Garda flows into the Mincio. The best way to discover the city is to take a walk through the star-shaped old town, which extends over one of the islands and is towered over by the mighty fortress.
