The seaside resort of Baveno is located on the south-west side of Lake Maggiore in Piedmont and has always been valued for its mild climate. The famous granite is still mined in the region today and it is recommended to explore the city center and the districts on foot, as this is the best way to discover the many architectural details made of pink granite.
