Casciana Terme with its hot springs is reachable in 10 minutes. The “Teatro del Silenzio” (theatre) can be reached in 30 minutes and lies on the hills of Pisa, in the small community of Lajatico where every year the live concert of Andrea Boccelli takes place. You will find in the village of Lari restaurants, pizzerias, wine-bar, coffee bars, ice-cream place, various groceries, pharmacy, gasoline station, ladies’ and men’s hairdresser, a beauty salon, atm, the supermarkets are 10 km away. The owner offers her guests a guided tour to a nearby "azienda agricola" and its wine cellar. The various phases of production and vinification of the white, rosé and red wines are explained. The tour ends with a wine tasting and a tasting of bread with extra virgin olive oil of their production.
