Where Friesland is mainly known for its open landscape and water, you will find a combination of a coulisse landscape (semi-open landscape with wooded banks, alder groves and hedges) and water in this area. In the immediate vicinity you will find various lakes and a canal for water sports, swimming or fishing. In Simmerhúske you will stay in a holiday home for 6 people, built with great care and craftsmanship. This completely detached holiday home is located in a quiet area on a canal and is ideal as a base to discover the area and the province. The many nearby cycling and hiking trails invite you to explore this beautiful area. Simmerhúske has 2 luxurious, 3-person bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own theme for a unique experience, their own Smart TV and very good beds/box springs of Frisian manufacture. Both rooms have their own cupboard space. In the spacious kitchen you can all dine together at the large wooden table. There is also a Smart TV here. The kitchen itself is equipped with all the luxury and convenience: Induction hob with built-in extractor, dishwasher, fridge with freezer, combination microwave, luxury (filter) coffee maker and a quooker for instant hot water. The beautifully tiled bathroom has a toilet, washbasin with mirror and a shower. Directly near the holiday home you will find more than enough parking spaces for all guests. In the parking lot you will also find a charging station where 2 electric cars can charge simultaneously. Directly in front of the house you have your own covered terrace at your disposal. The terrace has a large table and comfortable chairs. Here you have an unobstructed view of the canal and the playground. This is also the place for a delicious BBQ! There is a separate storage room for communal use. In this well-locked storage room you can safely store your (electric) bicycles and put them on the charger if necessary. An electric BBQ is also available here. In the adjacent outbuilding you will find a spacious, stove-fired Finnish sauna with light therapy and infrared heaters. Next to the sauna is an outdoor shower to cool off. For the children there is a safe playground outside next to the house, which is completely equipped with rubber tiles. On the playground you will find, among other things, a bird's nest swing, a regular swing and tumble bars. A table tennis table completes the whole. The canal side is equipped with a low fence over a generous length, making it safe for younger children as well. In summary: This holiday home was built with attention to detail.
