The area is also popular for diving, fishing, and hiking. 4 km to shallow sandy beach. 10 km to Østra ski center. 60 km to Ålesund with the Atlantic Park, the Art Nouveau Center and the stairs to the lookout point Aksla. Take a trip to the bird island Runde, where you can see puffins, among other things. In Nordfjord and Stryn you will find Briksdalsbreen and Kjenndalsbreen. Loen Skylift with commuter train from fjord to mountain in 5 minutes with Hoven view restaurant 1100 m.o.h. Ørstaelva with trout and salmon (15 June-31 July) on request when booking the holiday home, NOK 70 per fishing license. Ørstafjorden with good fishing spots just outside the boat harbor on Rjåneset, 13, where the boat is located. Boat for rent: 18-foot boat with 40 HP.
