Here there is a reindeer herd and generally a rich animal life. The area offers marked and unmarked paths for hiking and cycling. Ski resorts only 600 meters away and cross-country trails only 150 m from the cabin. At Bjørnehiet Pub at the alpine resort, you can buy pizza/hamburgers etc. Great fishing opportunities in e.g. Åkrestrømmen and the river Mistra, one of Norway's best trout rivers.
