In Grimstad approx. 15 km away, there is a golf course, and during winter you can enjoy at ice skating on the artificial ice rink at Myra (5 km). Arendal offers a varied cultural events all year and is visited by thousands of people. Raet National Park, Merdø, Canvas Hove, Tromøy with great beaches, Kuben museum, Pollen and not least the swimming pool in the guest harbor are all worth a visit.
