Description: Charming, vertically split fisherman's shack in Henningsvær, Lofoten's biggest fishing village. The holiday house is secluded in a quiet area, far east in the village, with a fine view of the sea and mountains. The house is tastefully furnished and has terraces on both sides, for you to enjoy the morning and evening sun. The lower bunk bed is 1,20 cm wide, with a single upper bed. The mezzanine has extra beds. You can walk from the cottage to the harbour. There is a grocery shop and restaurants that sell local food. During the annual "Lofotfiske" there is lots of activity here, when fishing boats deliver their catch in the harbour. In the old days, the harbour would be filled with boats and more than 10 000 fishermen. Deep Sea Rafting, bike rental, kayaks and ocean fishing, are some of the activities you can experience here. Signed trails lead up the mountains, enjoy the stunning view from the top. 7 km to a beach in Rørvik. This is a great starting point for day excursions around Lofoten. Layout:
