Great opportunities for outdoor activities in the area in both summer and winter, such as hikes in the woods and fields, cross-country skiing, frisbee golf or fishing and swimming in the beautiful lakes in the area. The climbing park "High and low park" in Modum is well worth a visit, and a little further away you will find Langedrag family/activity park where you can see wolves, lynxes, foxes, moose, and reindeer. Good opportunities for picking berries and mushrooms in the area. The Blefjellheisen is family-friendly and has 3 descents. Should you want slightly bigger conditions, take the trip to Skimore alpine center in Kongsberg.
