It is also recommended to take a trip to Dømmesmoen, a natural and cultural experience area with burial mounds, stone settings, old buildings, hiking trails/light runners etc. Grimstad is also not far away; here you will find white-painted houses, good food, festivals and several museums and sightseeing tours in the archipelago. The famous Kristiansand Zoo is only an hour's drive away. It is 30 km to Evje with the mineral park, the climbing park, rafting, and several other activities. The southern villages of Arendal and Lillesand are also not far away. Good skiing in winter, for example cross-country skiing at Dømmesmoen or at Øynaheia approx. 25 km from the holiday home.
