Several daily ferry connections (Mikkelvik – Bromnes) make the island easily accessible by car, 1 h 45 min journey time by car including ferry from Tromsø airport. Daily bus connection on weekdays. The 45 m2 cabin was built in 2011 and has two bedrooms, a living room with an open kitchen and a large loft accessible by loft stairs. Cozy living room with wood-burning stove, Wifi, and TV accessible via Chromecast. The bedrooms have double beds. In addition, there are places to sleep for two on a mattress on the loft. The area has a rich fauna, and you will be able to experience reindeer up close. Parts of the island are landscape protection areas due to nature, wildlife, and geology. There are many hiking options, from easier hikes in the lowlands, e.g. to Bromnes-Toftefjorden, and to well-marked hikes to mountain peaks such as Storfjellet 431 m, Løkstinden 450 m and Helvetestinden 674 m. There are lavvo and gapahuk which increase well-being by being out in nature even when the weather is not at its best. There is plenty of fish in the sea around Rebbenesøya and possible to fish with a rod from shore. In winter, you can experience nature on skis or with snowshoes. There are groomed trails, and a lighted trail in Litlevassvika. Ferry routes: https://svipper.no/meny/reise/rutetabeller-og-kart/rutetabeller-ferge/ Layout:
