Also worth stopping by is the Paseo Maritimo de Guardamar, a typical Spanish boulevard in authentic coastal town with native residents as well as foreigners who live in the area permanently or temporarily, so always lively. Torrevieja salt lakes is a natural park with salt lakes and Flamingos while Mercadillo del campo de Guardamar is a cosy market in the countryside with stuff, music and cozy eateries. Sukiyaki in the center of Ciudad Quesada is a Japanese restaurant. There is a fortress on the mountain in Alicante with a fantastic view of the city, which can be climbed on foot, but the car park is also accessible by car. Enjoy Mini golf at Ciudad Quesada and Midget golf for young and old in a relaxed atmosphere. Quesada Bowling is a great way to escape the hot sun and cool down, and the prices are also very reasonable. For a shopping spree, you can head to La Zenia shopping Centre, which is the largest shopping mall of the Costa Blanca. Relax in the pretty furnished garden after taking an outdoor shower. You can also chill indoors, all thanks to the air-conditioning.
