Welcome to Oxberg, located a few miles outside Mora in Dalarna and the Fädren's trail at Vasaloppsleden. Here you live on the owner's plot together with 3 more cozy log cabins where everyone shares a lovely lawn and barbecue area. If you are going to run the Vasaloppen sometime during the year, this is the perfect cabin as it is located directly next to the trail. Here, people like to pack a picnic bag and go hiking or take a turn on the MTB trail. The 20 square meter cabin is small and rare and almost like a hotel room with its own kitchenette firmly located at the edge of the forest with its own balcony and outdoor furniture. Here there is a small kitchenette with stove with 2 induction plates, cooker hood, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment and kettle and pressure kettle. In the cottage there is also a double bed 180 cm and a toilet with a sink and shower which is beautifully tiled with river valley quartzite with the typical red color and marbling made at Wasasten in Mångsbodarna. None of the cottages have a TV. The owner rents out a rowing boat that can be booked by all guests who rent on the farm, first come, first served. The cottage is located in beautiful natural surroundings, rural and elevated with lovely natural plot and forest all around. Here you pick seasonal berries and mushrooms and in the area there is a great opportunity to see everything from moose to forest birds. Below is Oxbergssjön with its popular swimming area which has both a trampoline, jetty and sandy beach. If you want to fish, there are several different lake systems around with everything from trout to grayling (fishing license required). Youth groups cannot book this accommodation as a guardian is required for the entire stay. If you are staying for a longer period and need to do laundry, there are laundry facilities in the village's fresh laundry facility. The area around Siljan has lots of attractions. We recommend both Orsa Rovdjurpark in Grönklitt, the Zorn and Vasalopps museum in Mora, the Dalahest production in Nusnäs and a trip to Tomteland where Santa lives. If you want an eventful holiday in Dalarna, you will live here perfectly. Welcome! The owner of this house also rent out house number: 49442 and 49449.
